About the Speaker:
CARRIE KAELIN, MHA, RHIA, SSBBP
Over the past 25 years, Carrie Kaelin has actively practiced health informatics and information management in leadership, consulting, and staff positions in a variety of healthcare settings including managed care and Medicare insurance plans, acute care facilities and clinics, critical access hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities. She has also taught in both traditional and online HIT/HIM programs. Her current professional interests are public health, healthcare policy, revenue cycle & resource management, process and quality improvement, and ethics in healthcare among many others.
Carrie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Administration from University of Cincinnati and earned her Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). She also has a Master of Science degree in Health Care Administration (MHA) from the University of Washington.
Additionally, she is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt Professional (SSBBP).
CEU CREDITS: This program has been approved for 1.5 CEUs by the National Association for Healthcare Quality CPHQ continuing education credits.
