About the Speaker

Mat has worked in a variety of roles in Quality Improvement for the past 20 years. He has a BA in Psychology and an MA in Forensic Psychology. He also holds a GBMP Lean in Healthcare Certificate.
Mat is a passionate, creative and results oriented health care professional with extensive experience working with community hospitals to meet challenges and exceed goals. His experience includes:
o Leading and facilitating multidisciplinary teams that use performance improvement methods to drive change
o Oversight of the Pay for Performance Program including implementing strategies to increase performance
o Analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement both clinically and financially
o Clinical Review including a physician quality program
